National Jamboree 2023

Rather than planning a Troop 541 high adventure trip for 2023, we're encouraging participation in the National Jamboree July 19-28, 2023 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. Activities at the Summit include BMX biking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, climbing, shooting sports and even a 3/4 mile zip line. The cost for the 10 day event is $2,050 and registration is already open.

If you will be 12 or older by July 18, 2023, and want to participate, then please register and let our scoutmaster and committee chair both know. Our Council's Jamboree troop for girls will include other Scouts from the Cradle of Liberty Council, and there are only 36 spots available, so it will fill up quickly. Here's how to register:

1. Go to the National Registration Page, enter the information, and obtain a registration code.
2. Complete a Request to Attend form using the registration code you got from the national registration.
3. Mail the form to the council office (Roger S. Firestone Scouting Resource Center, 1485 Valley Forge Road, Wayne, PA 19087) with a deposit check for $750.
4. Notify the Troop Committee Chair and the Scoutmaster that you've signed up.
