Council Wide Liberty Jam
Join Scouts from across the Cradle of Liberty Council for the 2026 Liberty Jam at Green Lane Park on May 1-3. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime jamboree celebrating 250 years of American independence!
The weekend will be packed with adventure, fellowship, and patriotic spirit as we honor the past and build the future! You’ll explore immersive program villages, including:
- Family Fun - Activities designed for our youngest Scouts, including handicrafts, nature, and STEM
- Tech & Innovation – Electricity, ham radio, space, and more
- Living History – Step back in time with living history demonstrations, black powder demonstrations, and military equipment
- Scoutcraft – Outdoor cooking, pioneering, woodcarving, and first aid competitions
- First Responder – Get to know modern first responders and their equipment, including Search & Rescue
- Aquatics – Canoeing, paddle boats, and fishing fun
- Midway – Featuring exhibits from our Program Partners
As always meal planning and cooking will be done by the patrols. Here's the planning schedule for this trip:
- April 6: Menu packets distributed. Patrols assign Grubmasters and begin discussing what they want to eat.
- April 13: Patrols agree on what they want to eat and complete step 1 of the packet. Grubmasters take packets home and complete steps 2a by fleshing out the menu and step 2b by filling out the nutrition table.
- April 20: Patrols and ASPL approve menus and nutrition requirements, Grubmasters take home food boxes, complete step 3 by inventorying them, and complete step 4 by making their shopping lists.
- April 27: Final shopping list approved by Patrols and ASPL, checks issued to Grubmasters, Grubmasters take coolers home and purchase food.
